We’re making plans for a spring/summer litter, still up in the air at the moment.

We’ve got in 2 new fosters.  A member of the family has passed away unexpectedly and we’ve been asked to foster his two pets til appropriate homes can be found.  I’ve currently posted one because temperament wise, he’s ready to be placed.  We’re working with the 2nd to try and get him to come around to strangers, we’re hoping he can be safely placed as that is our goal.

Miss Boogie went to live with her sissy, Penny (‘PR’ Nimh’s Sandy Claws) in New York this weekend.  I think she’ll fit in just fine 🙂

Shew, been a busy weekend here… we’re working on trying to prepare the kennels for wintering… I love this fall weather.

Toby found a lap to call his own and his first report on his new turf was a great one. 🙂

We placed two puppies this weekend as well, one went to a home with her own little girl who will be training for agility and the other went not to far from us to a home with Dobie siblings.

With the weather change, I’m a little early in getting into the Christmas mood but I think I already know what the doglets are getting for Christmas 🙂  I’ll update when it’s official.

Nothing else new to report, it’s just gonna be a doggie treat makin’ kinda day.  We’re making the liver treats that we posted a couple day ago in the blogging section, omitting the garlic.

I LOVE THE INTERNET!
Toby is no longer an unknown….

After some searching and light bulb going on in my head, I realized the name on his shot records was a name I recognized. Some googling and a phone call later…

Toby was born on 10/18/09, so his 4th birthday is fast approaching.
His daddy was Carolina Mighty Max & his momma was Carolina Southern Belle.
We even have his breeder’s name and has UKCI papers floating around in NC but I told the gentleman who kindly offered the info I didn’t need them since he was neutered and going to be a loved pet.

The gentleman who kindly gave me the information after he described him to a T over the phone, bark and all, told me that he came from a Rabbit Cage breeder and poor Toby had probably never touched grass before he came to him. The man had to let him go since he didn’t get along with his boys, he gave him to a home that told him they had no other dogs, which he’d thrive in, but that proved to be a lie since that’s how he came to me. The man said he was already scarred up from head to toe before he came to him.

Toby has a home lined up for this Saturday, NO OTHER pets, i made sure. A happy ending to a potentially tragic story.

Mr. Toby got his stitches out yesterday, he’s now fully ready for his new home, where ever that may be!

Mr. Toby got neutered yesterday.  Poor guy is a lil out of it this morning.  He slept all evening when he got home, only getting up to potty and eat/drink.  He’ll be officially ready for his new home in a couple days when he starts feeling more like himself.  We’ll work on new pictures and maybe even a video to show his personality 🙂

Finally got all puppy papers for The Dreamers.

Still got 3 girls left and 2 boys… hope 1 boy might end up in a show or performance home 🙂
