Matisse (sired by Clique) had 8 puppies last night!  I was surprised when I walked in the door after two hours of working in the garden.
We’ve got least 4 Pearls, 1 Black, & 3 Chocolates; I think.  Going to hold them up to the light this evening for sure.  And if I counted correctly we have 4 boys and 4 girls!

Chewy was rehomed with a dear friend across town who recently lost one of her beloved feist in a car accident.

Matisse is getting a little large in the middle, expecting puppies in the next couple weeks!  Get those applications in, I don’t expect this litter to last long.

Dodger broke the ice finally, getting a major towards his Champion title with a Best of Winners!

Farrah, our Picard, took two Best Champions today but nothing to go towards her GrandChampion title yet.

04/20/13

We competed in Athens, TN this weekend, at the GSMDC conformation show.

Farrah, our Picard, took 2 group 1sts Friday night and 2 Best Champion today but not majors towards her GrandChampionship yet.

We are excited to say that Mage took 1 Best Champion win for a Major win towards her GrandChampionship!  She’s got 4 more to go.

Miss Penee gave a go at a Den Dog training run, she was interested in the rat, not so much the tunnel 🙂  We’ll see how she does tomorrow in the official run.

Busy day!

We pulled the dog trailer for the first time today with our newly tuned up Expedition, pulled great! we’re gearing up for Athens, TN dog show next weekend… So much left to do!

I got the treadmill working, dogs were not impressed. lol.  Mage picked up quickly though still unsure, very food motivated, Penee thought it was the most horrible thing. haha

Romeo is officially reserved, waiting on his new mommy to fly in and pick him up Wednesday and then hoping a return flight the next morning back to Massachusetts.

Oh, final piece of news, I feel pretty confident in saying Matisse is confirmed pregnant.  So if you’re interested in a puppy, please get your application in.

Added a new ‘In Danger’ Rat Terrier to the Rat Terriers Need Rescue page.  The little girl is in my county.  They have her listed as another breed but I could see some rattie in there.

I uploaded a few new pictures to the gallery.  One of Mage, one of Dodger, and a couple of Rummy.

I also uploaded new 11 week old pictures of Romeo and Reba, our two available puppies.

I’ve updated the ‘Stud Application’, found on Our Gentlemen’s page.

Looks like some gorgeous weather ahead so hope to get more recent pictures of everyone! Keep checking back.

Tamale (now Rosie) and Rodeo (now Gracie) went to new homes  yesterday.  Everyone appeared very pleased 🙂 — this includes the puppies.

 

This leaves little Reba and Romeo looking for forever homes.  Don’t forget about Chewy.

Chewy got vet checked this past Saturday and is found to be in good overall health.  He’s looking for his special home where he can be someone’s momma’s boy and someone who can understand his limitations.

Happy April Fool’s day all!

Joking aside, have the following updates:

Dodger won 5pts this past weekend but no majors, was a slow weekend for both him and our Picard.  The rest of the weekend he took reserve to a very nice younger male.  Our Picard, Farrah, took Best Champion once over one other Picard but didn’t beat the GrandChampion for Breed so no Major win towards her GrandChampion title yet.

Miss Tamale & Miss Rodeo are both reserved with deposits, hopefully they’ll be going to their new homes this coming weekend.

Romeo is still available looking for his show home to fulfill his potential & Miss Reba is still looking for her own warm couch.

We’ll be confirming Matisse’s pregnancy in the next couple weeks so keep checking back, we’re expecting big things from this litter (sire: Clique).  If you think you’d be interested in a puppy please submit a filled out application to get your name on the waiting list.

We’ll be preparing for our next show, mid April, in Athens, TN.  If you’re in the area, we highly recommend dropping by the show site, the weekend of the 20th, and see what we’re all about!

Masquerade Picards will be welcoming their first import from France this summer, please check our site to keep updated on that progress.  Also, we hope to breed our CH ALLSTARS Farrah Fawcett this summer as well, the Masquerade website will keep updates for that.
