The puppy cam is back!

Happy new year’s everyone!!!!! Where has the time gone?!
Anyways, to bring in the new year, we’ll be welcoming Rori/Cedrick litter around the 18th. I’ll be setting up my puppycam to watch her about a week before her due date.
Jedi found a new home over Christmas in Chicago, IL! They love him and say he’s doing great with the grandkids. 🙂
We’ve still got 3 Braidy/Louie puppies that are looking for homes. Fully vaccinated, microchipped & starting crate training!
Carter found a home as well over the holidays. One of those matches you know was meant to be. He loaded in the front seat of the car like he had always done it and never looked back. He gets to be a helping ‘elf’ in a Christmas store in Northern VA!

Rori is showing signs of pregnancy so we’re looking for puppies around Jan 18, 2013!
We also still have 4 puppies from Braidy/Louie litter, they’ve had all puppy shots, microchipped & wormed. They’ve started crate training.

Nimh Kennels website has finally got a facelift!!! I hope you all like it.
Also, little Miss Leia went to live in North Carolina today with the Crawford family! She looked quite at home wrapped in her sissy’s jacket and I’m sure she’ll be giving her furry sissy hell. I expect to see some water pictures of little Leia because her furry sister is a Labrador!
I can’t believe this year is almost over, everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving & remember — NO COOKED POULTRY BONES for the doggies!

Rori is a heavy set girl, healthy weight probably around 18lbs though easy to let get pudgy around the center. She’s a light red sable, irish pattern, in color. This girl is intense and doesn’t let up when a vermin catches her gaze, she’s had a couple successful kills in her days. She can entertain herself for hours with a ball, she throws it up in the air and tosses it around for her to run after.
Cedrick is a little smaller framed than Rori, he weighs around 16-17lbs pure muscle. He’s got a gorgeous deep chocolate coat with tan points in the tux pattern. This boy is sired by one of our best ratters, Clique. Cedrick, himself, hasn’t had the opportunity to hunt on his own yet but we look forwards to trying him out soon. Cedrick is a love bug and wants to please. I’m also looking forwards to getting him back in the show ring to strive towards his GrandChampionship this year!
We are very excited about the arrival of this litter, it’s been a long time waiting. We’re expecting small-medium standard sized dogs at maturity in a good mix of bone and muscle. We hope to see the hunting instinct carried on in this litter, could be a potential squirrel hunter here.
Puppies will have their tails docked and dewclaws removed. They will also be microchipped, vaccinated for parvo/distemper at minimum & wormed.
This litter will be ‘PR’ UKC registered & AKC-FSS registered with eligibility to go to the terrier group when the Rat Terriers move from Misc in AKC middle of 2013.

Rori came to us from Julie Patterson at Crystal Creek Rat Terriers in GA, who is no longer breeding. Rori is out of Desert High’s Heart’s Desire and by Desert High’s Eye of the Storm. This girl has a very easy going, quiet temperament and is a cuddle bug but she LOVES her tennis balls and can entertain herself with them.
Rori is looking for a comfy couch to retire on. She’ll be spayed before leaving. This girl loves to hunt, has killed squirrel, but does well with cats and kids.

Braidy is a half sister to CH RaganRat’s Wrinkle In Time CGC [see The Boys’ page]. She came to us from Darice Ragan at RaganRat Terriers in TN. Braidy is out of CH RPK’s L’Oreal Paris De RaganRat and out of GRCH Spursnspokes Smoky Mtn Ranger. This girl has speed under her belt and is always out in front in the friendly yard chases. Her tight turns never allow anyone to catch up to her.

Cedrick has had it going on since day 1, this solid guy won Best Puppy in Show at only 8 weeks of age in Athens, TN under David Arthur. (6 puppies in class) He’s got a good presence about him with enough humbleness to be pleasant. Cedrick is out of CH RaganRat Braided BanglesNBeads and by GRCH Nimh’s Point ‘N Clique. Cedrick is a full littermate/brother to Mage & a full brother to Penee.
Cedrick is available to the right home. He’ll be neutered before placement.
Cedrick does not like little children so would do best in a home with older kids. He’s very affectionate and laid back.
