This page is dedicated to the Rat Terriers of my past that have helped me to get to where I am today, and maybe a few special non-ratties.
Bandit – Rat Terrier – ?? to Aug. 2001
Bandit is the reason we are doing what we are doing. He was a perfect companion. I had him for my first 16yrs of life. He was a stray found at the local gas station with a small skinned place on his head and a brand new collar, sales tag still attached. I was less than a year old when my parents found him and with no one to claim him he became our own. This boy was everything I could wish for. He put up with me dressing him up, pulling on his ears, etc. My kennel is a dedication to him.
Bingo – Rat Terrier
Bingo was a young pup that my aunt bought us. His life was prematuraly ended when he decided to chase my mother’s horse.
Jasmin – Rat Terrier
I got this little girl as a birthday present in my early teens. This girl was very pretty but very timid and at the time I was looking for an agility dog. I ended up placing her with a quite family.
Tucker – Rat Terrier
Tucker was a black tri that I rescued from my local pound. I had him neutered and updated on everything and placed him in a home with a little girl because I was dead set on showing dogs in conformation or else he would have stayed.
Elsa [CH Dragonfly I'm Something Elsa] – Rat Terrier
Elsa is now living with my parents as a pet. She was my 2nd show champion. She had a litter with my first Champion male and produced CH Nimh’s Point ‘N Clique. This was an oops litter as I hadn’t had her tested yet but the litter turned out better than I expected. Elsa was checked to have a luxating patellar so is now spayed and living the pet life but her cleared son continues his show carrier.
Kendal [3BF Re-kendal the Romance] – Rat Terrier
Kendal was a black tri piebald I had purchased from 3Bear Farms as an older puppy. As she aged she matured differently than expected and I made the tough decision to send her back as she didn’t fit my program. Last I heard she was living with Kathie Tracey at Blue Granite Kennels and has gained her Champion title!
Anna (Renamed Trio) [Nimh's Copy 'N Paste] – Rat Terrier (CH Delorean CGC x CH Elsa)
Anna was short for Deloreanna since she was the spitting image of her daddy only chocolate instead of pearl. She was from my first litter produced here at Nimh Kennel by Delorean & Elsa. Anna went to a loving home with her own little boy!
Target (Renamed Joe) [Nimh's You've Got Mail] – Rat Terrier (CH Delorean CGC x CH Elsa)
Target was rehomed with Ellen, a close family friend. He & his step-brother, Rusty a Jack Russell, get into mischief together, always keeping Ellen on her feet.
Ruby [Nimh's Ruby On Rails] – Rat Terrier (CH Delorean CGC x CH Elsa)
Ruby was the first of my first litter to be rehomed to a home in Pulaski, VA with her own set of children!
Pixel [Nimh's Pixel Perfect] – Rat Terrier (CH Delorean CGC x CH Elsa)
Pixel was rehomed to an older gentleman in Northern VA, she was his world. He would take her camping and she would go everywhere with him. Pixel went missing in Oct of ‘09 when a gun shot from a neighboring hunter scared her off and search efforts dug up nothing.
Glitch [Nimh's Does Not Compute] – Rat Terrier (CH Delorean CGC x CH Elsa)
Glitch was a cute little girl who’s ears decided not to cooperate so she was rehomed to a pet home where they loved her odd ear carriage.
Rome (Renamed Bella) [When in Rome NB] – Rat Terrier
Rome was purchased a foundation prospect but her ears decided to stay button therefore had her placed in a pet home. She is doing wonderful with a Beagle sister as a partner in crime.

Vegas (Renamed ___) [Nimh's Wide Open] – Rat Terrier (CH Clique x Ice)
Ice [Hall's Huckleberry Ice] – Rat Terrier ? – Nov 09, 2009
Ice was a wonderful girl, she was taken prematurily from us. She was to be a foundation dog here and is lived on by 5 puppies birthed here at our kennel, 1 of which will be staying to continue her in our lines. Ice was so funny because when you would pick her up she would freeze in place. Her and my dad really got along.
Willie ['PR' Nimh's Wee Willie Winkie] – Rat Terrier (CH Fargo x CH Braidy)
This lil ball of fire got his own home with 3 children of his very own in the Roanoke area.
Malachi (Renamed Digger) ['PR' Nimh's The Stage is Set 4 You] – Rat Terrier (CH Clique x Ice)
Malachi was renamed Digger. He went to a home in VA with his own little boy and Rat Terrier Stepbrother.
